Trust, filed
properly.

VettingMate is a Nigerian verification platform built on a simple belief: people and businesses should be able to prove who they are, what they've done and who vouches for them, once, securely, and with their consent.

The problem

Proof is scattered.
Risk is not.

Identity documents live in email inboxes. References live in phone calls nobody recorded. Employment history lives in payslips and offer letters. Every time someone rents a home, starts a job or signs a contract, the same evidence is gathered again, slowly, inconsistently, and often insecurely.

VettingMate turns that chaos into a registry: verified records, collected with consent, checked against authoritative sources, and shared only when the subject says so. One platform for identity, background, tenancy, business and reference verification.

Principles

How we work.

P·01

Consent before everything

No check runs without the subject's informed, recorded consent. Every data request is logged, purpose-limited and auditable, the NDPA isn't a checkbox here, it's the architecture.

P·02

Sources, not guesses

We verify against authoritative sources, document checks, registry data, referee contact, institutional records, and we say plainly when something cannot be verified rather than dressing up uncertainty.

P·03

The subject owns the file

People can see their own records, correct errors, dispute findings and control who sees what. A dossier about you should never be hidden from you.

P·04

Built for Nigeria

Nigerian data, Nigerian law, Nigerian turnaround expectations. NIN and BVN identity rails, police character certificate workflows and CAC registry integration are designed in from the start.
